Here is a simple way to jumpstart your APS marketing campaign.  Do the initial steps first then go right into marketing as soon as you are properly setup.  These may not be super effective way but I just want you to see specific actions on specific sites to join and what to create.  Read these simple instructions:

1.  Make sure your Affiliate IDs are updated at your APS back office so you would not miss out on any referral signup.  Remember, if your ID is not in your back office, your referrals may sign up with another ID meaning you will lose your referrals.  To update this, login to your APS back office and click on ADD/EDIT ID link.  Fill out all usernames and IDs as required based on your registrations with the affiliate sites.

2.  Make sure that your email address in your paypal account is the same as your Step 2 hosting email address.  You should create an email address based on your step 2 hosting then use this email address in your paypal account.  Remember you can register up to 8 emails in your paypal account so you don't need to remove your original email address.

3.  Advertise your search engine.  Your search engine will yield you commissions when your visitors perform a search and complete a transaction.  The details of these transactions are detailed in this thread.  Plan your splash pages, your text ads and banners based on these features.

4.  Advertise your referral links.  Your other income streams are dependent on how you advertise your referral links.  Your referral links are located at your APS back office under the link REFERRALS.  Please do read the notes on how to advertise your referral links so you don't get banned on APS due to spamming.

5.  Here are the different forms of marketing your website and referral links:

a.  Traffic Exchanges.  You can go to EasyHits4U.com and ResidualQuik.com and register for free.  You can then surf for points and the make your text ads, banner ads and splash pages and put them on rotation.  These two sites are effective source of traffic and can give you good conversions.

b.  Safelists.  You can go to BuzzBeeAdvertising.com and ListQuik.com and register for free.  For BuzzBee you can click on the member ads and banners and build up your points.  Then send an email ad to random members.  BuzzBee allows you to send emails to random members every 12 days.  For ListQuik, you have to wait for emails from members, browse them and earn points.  Then you can email random members your ads every 5 days.

c.  Social Networking.  Use Sokule.com, Facebook.com, Twitter.com and Tagged.com.  Join groups with similar interests and business affiliations the post your bulletins and wall notes.  Make sure to send ads to your friends in your network and do not random send to members which are not in your list.  Otherwise you may be banned for spamming.

d.  Article Writing.  Create a Squidoo.com account and create your lens based on APS search engine.  If you are new to this, try to view some blogs of members and see how they compose these articles about their search engines.  Try to create more lenses as your time may permit.  Direct your links to your customized splash pages or landing pages.  If you don't have one, create one.  Squidoo is very particular with affiliate links so don't get caught or your lens will be locked. 
If your hosting is on Hostgator, you can create a subdomain for your Wordpress and create a blog about your search engine and referral links.  Since this resides in your website, you can put all the affiliate links that you'll need to advertise.  Then use your social networks and safelists to advertise your blogs and lenses or post them to ezines.

e.  PPC.  If you have a budget to get into the action of PPC, I suggest you read first from forum posts about PPC so you can learn the basics and techniques.  If you have $40 to spare, enroll at Wealthy Affiliates and study different marketing methods particularly PPC.  Since you enrolled at WA, have your Super Affiliate Switch Flipped and see the benefits thru the link at the APS back office.

6.  Promote THIS FORUM.  Target referrals can easily be convinced by sending them to specific threads in this FORUM so they can have a clearer vision of the business.  You can create your personalized referral links to specific threads of this forum by copying the URL of a specific thread and creating your affiliate link to the thread thru the tool located at the REFERRALS link in the APS back office.  All visitors to this forum under your referral link will sign up under your affiliate code

7.  Monitor your campaign trends.  Take note of each referral links that you advertise and create tracking IDs so you would know which campaign is making hits for you and which ones are giving you nothing.  You can improve your existing campaigns or add more campaigns to fully bring your marketing into full blast.

8. Attend Webinars and Trainings.  Webinars are a good way to get more information about the APS business and affiliate sites.  Try to attend the webinars of APS and other affiliate sites so you always get updated on the business regarding new features, special offers and income boosters.  Above you can see TALK TO TISSA link.  Go to this link to register to APS webinars.  Your affiliate websites also have their own links to webinars.  Make sure you register to each and understand the business fully.  If you missed webinars, try to locate the recordings of these webinars.

The topics discussed are at their simplest form.  You will know the nitty-gritty details of each topic once you go into them one by one.  Try to finish one topic at a time rather than getting everything started and having everything unfinished.  Then after completing (or being able to do) #7, go back to #3 and review or create new campaigns.
