In the mean time If I can offer some assistance and maybe try to clear what seems to be a few misunderstandings I'm gathering from your post.
There is free advertising for you Search engine but for only 24-48 hours after you complete Step3. Once you receive the $125 bonus commission in your account the free advertising stops. You now have to take the time, as you do with any legitimate business, to Learn To Earn. If your Sponsor mis-led you in any other way that is unfortunate. It is also unfortunate that they are not willing to help you now after you signed up.
However, that is where this forum and Wealthy Affiliates can help you. There is a wealth of information here if you start reading the different threads and posts. Begin at the Index Link up top and navigate through the directories and sub directories.
I'm not sure how you could have not found any good information at Wealthy Affiliates. Are you subscribed to the monthly subscription or annual? For paid advertising methods such as PPC the beating adwords guide is outstanding. For free methods there is a great course on article writting and blogging. These methods are proven to work but it will take time and patience to learn first. If anyone told you that you can make money online without learning how to advertise they probably were not too honest.
GDI is not only offering you a domain name but the hosting as well. Included you are getting another business opportunity and residual stream of income. The $10 per month is not really unreasonable for the opportunity that they offer in my opinion and I think that many who are building there downlines using the People Search Program will agree with me. It is a low committment month to month fee that you can quit at anytime.
Have you looked at the 125 proof board? Have you seen how much this program has paid out to date to its affiliates? Have you looked at the GDI leaderbord and seen how many people are on there that use the ACME People Search engine? All I can say is that from my experience, and so many other people who can back me up on this,... Tissa pays what you earn. It's honest and it's for real. You get out what you put in.

One last point worth mentioning is if you take the time to learn and share and teach others in this forum, then Tissa will pay for your Step3 subscription, GDI and or Hostgator fee, and Wealthy Affiliate membership for as long as you are a Super Sponsor. I don't know of anyone else who offers to pay as you learn to earn. If you are new to the online affiliate marketing world my advice is to take advantage of this opportunity.
