Re: Please help me select a charity!

Chris I for one applaud your generous soul. There are so many worthy causes however for my 2 cents........I would go with Paulied's idea.........as most disabled people on disablility pension have to work home businesses and we have all been scammed so much in the search for a true program that works for the common man.........hence why we are all here.

Helping the disabled maintain their autonomy and self respect/esteem is vital........no one truly knows unless they are close to someone disabled. The costs of starting up business , etc./....... leaves very little for food and other necessities!!!!!!

However maybe I would split it 10 ways.........giving a little to more individuals. It would be appreciated just the same. Paulied suggested maybe a 2/3/4 way split.........but you have to find out who is truly handicapped.

Besides my accident that most of you have heard of I have been a prisoner at home.......with 870.00 disability pension and 555.00 rent + 300.00 in utility bills!!!!! If I did not have a wonderful daughter I would not have food in the house. I suffer from chronic COPD.........they wanted to do a lung transplant 11 yrs ago but I nay nayed that one.......got a better Dr. and with the Grace of God and many supplements ( I study natural medicine also!) I have stayed at the same level with no degradation in 10 yrs now. But enough is enough, as this is not a life. I want to make money here so that I can be free to go out once in a while. I am all alone.........and it is very demoralizing and depressing especially in our long winters!!!!!

However I don't doubt their are worthier candidates here than I .  I have faith......and God's help and I try not to worry about the future. Thank God that my daughter invested for my yearly subs. to WA to help her mom feel better about herself once she can stop feeling like a burden to her daughter!!!!!

Just my feelings......exposed on a platter..........good luck in chosing Chris and Kudos on your generous soul!!!

Wow. Your first post, and that's how you ask for help? I wonder if anyone here has any questions about what kind of success you'll have with an attitude like that.

Well, here's your answers.
1. The payment plan is clearly outlined in the terms of service. Make sure you read the whole thing before you sign up for something.
2. If you register, like the search engine asked you to, then all of those little padlocks would disappear. FOR FREE. That means that you don't have to pay anything for them, you just have to register.

Have a nice day

1. Grow up and have some pride.
2. The minimum threshold is $200 as stated. If you're willing to work for it you can get that $200.
3. Yes the Search Engine is free. You just have to pay for hosting which is done with any branded website.
4. What do you mean you received the person's name? You aren't suppose to do the searching, You're suppose to promote it
in whatever manner you use, like writing articles, making blogs or websites, or just PPC. It's your search engine....

Re: Please help me select a charity!

Well, this thread quickly degraded!

Back to the matter at hand.  I think everyone had excellent suggestions.  I'm leaning towards Tissa's idea.  I think if we could create something more than just a one time donation we could really do a lot of good.  So if this is something that the community thinks would be a rewarding endeavor, and Tissa would be willing to get the ball rolling, I'd like the $1,000 to go to Affiliates With Disabilities (AWD).  I was thinking we could setup an AWD APS account and start growing a GDI downline!  Members who are feeling generous could plug the AWD username into their links periodically and help the cause.

I like the name, but we should probably hold a "Name the Charity" contest and see what other members could come up with.  Then if a graphic designer in the community would be willing to offer his/her services to come up with a logo that would awesome!

I for one think Affiliates With Disabilities is and awesome idea There are a lot people with Disabilities that can`t get help from there states and we won`t even talk about what the government does for them So yes this is a great idea !

Re: Please help me select a charity!

I have to agree. There really isn't anything like that out there. It would be a great way to help people who are stuck at home, and have no other choice. I choose to be a stay home dad, but I totally have the freedom to go work a 9-5 if I wanted to. It's really eye opening to consider that there are people, for whom affiliate marketing is a last resort for making a living wage from home with no skills.

I would be honored to help contribute to an opportunity like that, and I would be proud to wear that badge on my site.

I do have a question that's been pending since Monday when I registered. When is my rate going to change?  Also, when do my 24 hours begin?

Are you talking about from 65 % to 100% for completing Step 3? tissa has to run the Paypal updates and then you should be good to go. To what 24 hours are you referring?

Seriously, you try spending $9,000 a week on dialysis treatments and have a doctor tell you you'll be dead without a transplant within 8 months, and see if you will be so simple minded with your money.  I tried the support contact form, and I haven't heard from anyone yet.

All I have to say is this is a place where people are pleased to help one another and profanity has no place here. Keep that in the bars or street corners. We all get frustrated, but you are an adult and must realize what impact and impression that leaves most of you and your willingness to get along and learn with everyone's help. This is the best group of helpers I have ever seen and you should just stop with the swearing. There are other words in the dictionary..........that word is not an adjective anyway.
Try it another way, next time man.............the guys answered your questions regardless, but as a lady here I find it totally unappropriate!!! Thanks for hearing me out!!

Bianca please stop reposting other peoples posts just to get your post count up, i have seen you do that about 20-25 times now. Your creating clutter that is unnecessary and it is not contributing by reposting other peoples stuff, its called plagiarism and chris already brought it up about doing stuff like that.

And I seen your remarks about me by the poll,

Self Serving Bias :
The term "self-serving bias" is most often used to describe a pattern of biased causal inference, in which praise or blame depend on whether success or failure was achieved. For example, a student who gets a good grade on an exam might say, "I got an A because I am intelligent and I studied hard!" whereas a student who does poorly on an exam might say, "The teacher gave me an F because he does not like me!" When someone strategically strives to facilitate external causes for their poor performance (so that they will subsequently have a means to avoid blaming themselves for failure), it may be labeled self-handicapping.[5].

Hope that answers that. Also Whether you are leave or not, you still have not done a thing to help others bianca, maybe you should focus more on helping people and less on what they have done for you! And by the way, if I got paid for every post I made in here, then maybe I would say yes, I am self serving, but I dont. Nor do I have to be here, actually I think every Super Sponsor does not have to be here yet we contribute to making it easier for others to market their business for FREE.

And If tissa can back me on this one, If I remember him correctly he said "I am not doing this out of the kindness of my heart, this is a business!". What do you have to say about that? I along with every other successful marketer that chooses to help you guys here do not have to be here to help you, actually our time could be spent doing what we set out to do, MAKE MONEY ONLINE. This is a business and the longer it takes you to figure that out, the longer it is gonna take for you to succeed. Please super sponsors, let her know, and let everyone else know as well that our service to this forum is by choice! If some of you have a problem with that, please just move on as it is not gonna help you with your marketing efforts. lol There are things that you can be doing that alot more productive rather than picking and bickering at people for helping. The ones that focus on those things usually are the ones with the exact problem they are pointing at others.
