Hey, guys...I just discovered that website addresses (and e-mail addresses, come to that ) are stripped out of free ads on http://www.usfreeads.com. That doesn't mean you shouldn't use it, because it replaces it with "please contact me for the web address" so people can just shoot you an e-mail through the contact form if they want the link, but it's irritating because people are more likely to just click or copy/paste if the link is there than to go through the trouble of actually sending an e-mail request. I thought I'd tip you all off.

Hi Laurie Beth and welcome! That's common on many of these online classifieds at least for the email addresses to prevent the posters' email from being abused for spamming purposes. Lots of people troll those sites just looking for emails to harvest. As for the url being omitted, at least when they contact you you've got someone who is seriously interested in your site and taking a look at it. I always click the box that says I don't want to be contacted for commercial purposes and still some go ahead and send their unwanted emails to me anyway.

I agree with Linda, never allow someone to email you in the classifieds because you will get tons of spam. There is a way around this, you need to turn your ad into an image. You can do that by going to foto bucket and give your ad a url which turns the ad into an image, then you can upload it to which ever classifieds allow images. I don't know if us free ads does but craigslist and backpages allows it. Now you can upload it and the entire ad will be clickable.

Hi Kev, all you need to do is place your mouse over the photo and a dropdown will appear with 4 different formats of the url, depending on where you want to use it, choose the appropriate url.

Yup.
That also cuts down on fraud with those really popular sites. People will create a similar looking site on different domains in an attempt to phish for info.
Most of the big sites do this, like Amazon, and Ebay.

You can download them from below. Now all you do is submit as many of them as possible to online article directories. I recommend you changing a few words around here and there before you submit them to the directories just so they retain their uniqueness."
I cant seem to find thoes "pre-written" articles?
