Have you ever heard of the saying "how you do anything is how you do everything"?  If you hastily post a response, people can sense that.  If you haven't given thought to your replies, people will know that too.  So, when you have put thought into your post and provide value to others, people would know its quality as well. 

Here is one way to look at it: when you answer someone's question, imagine yourself in that person's shoes and if you were the person asking the question, what would you like to know and then provide that answer.  A quality post is a response that you have given to the other party that is well received.  It's well received when this person knows the solution to their problem, their options in solving it or their frustration has been lifted out.
