For those who haven't seen this post yet, I'm bumping this thread, and wanted to let you know this product is already being offered on Amazon to pre-order, even though it is only being released on Nov. 4th. You can read about it at Amazon.com. Just type in Kinect Xbox360 in the search box.
All you need to do is get a domain with the product name in it, and put up WP, find some reviews, post some Youtube videos about it, and link to the Amazon product here. Then you create a few backlinks, etc., and watch your site go right to the top. (Remember to do enough research so you get a domain with good possibilities of organic traffic. Even though the product hasn't been released, you can still get some ideas if you go to the Keyword tool and get exact match domains based on your research).
You will start getting organic traffic. It costs $149. Although Amazon's compensation isn't that generous, you can get a lot of sales on autopilot.
Remember, this is a new product which hasn't launched yet, and if you read the review on Amazon, you will see that 86% of the people bought this product after viewing it. That's a very high conversion rate.
Anyway, it's upto each of us to take advantage of this. Domains are available still, if you want to get in on it.
Even if you don't do anything with it, you can park it at Sedo.com, hold on to it for a few months, wait until just after the launch, till the frenzy starts, and then you can flip the domain (auction it off) for $2-3k or more.
