I wonder to know why my commissions stop to come. What is going on?
Emiliano

Hi Emiliano,

You current commission balance is actually negative $60 due to PayPal chargebacks and refunds.

Thanks,
Tissa

Hello Octa,

Your situation was the same as I described for Emiliano here.  You were seeing a referral in your back office whose subscription was canceled months prior.  Once we entered that manually, your balance dropped below the $50 payment threshold.  When your balance increases to $50 or more, commissions will be paid.

Thanks,
Tissa

Dear Tissa,
I just check on my backoffice again, and finally its above $50
Current Earnings:

$80.00 in Approved Payments

Kindly send the payment to my paypal

Please check my commissions.  I'm showing $120 in approved payments.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your patience while we researched.  You had a referral, 1260315157LNAP (whom I actually spoke to back in September) who disputed his subscription charges going back to December 2009 (!).  PayPal hasn't yet refunded him going that far back, but I canceled his subscription and refunded his last few payments as a courtesy.  So after refunding those, it turns out we over-payed you smile  No worries there, but your updated commissions (negative balance) are now showing in your back office.

Thanks,
Tissa

Hey guys, checking on those commissions - thanks!

singweb1 (Robin) and vodakmarketing (Constantin):  First, hello smile  Second, in both your cases, you were seeing referrals in your back office who canceled their subscriptions back in 2011 (and for whom you had already been paid commissions).

However, PayPal's IPN didn't notify us of the cancellations, so they continued to appear as active affiliates.  After verifying their subscriptions manually and disabling those accounts, your correct balance is now showing in your back office.

Thanks!
Tissa

Hi Barry,

I checked your account, and the reason your CPA commissions weren't released is because your Average Traffic Quality needed improvement (scroll to the bottom of your CPA commissions page and you'll see "Needs Improvement").  Your Average Traffic Quality had to be rated "Good" in order to be paid.  This change was implemented back in 2010 and widely discussed at the forum.

Hi Barry,

I didn't realize you were referring to CPA payments, since the previous discussion was with regard to Step 3 referral fees.  I will check your account and get back to you ASAP.

Thanks,
Tissa

Hello Emiliano,

Those commissions you're seeing are from a referral (1249219547SBCY) whose PayPal subscription was canceled back in October of 2010 (PayPal Subscriptin ID#S-95F36781LB370424P).  PayPal didn't report the cancellation to us automatically via their IPN so it had to be verified manually.  We disabled that account, so in fact your commissions are now negative $60, due to a payment that was made to you on Feb. 4, 2011 (PayPal Transaction ID # 9Y076173H6705463R).

Thanks,
Tissa

Barry,

I found your APS username in a previous post of yours (1231378281ADLB).  You don't have any commissions owing.  Also note that you're not at Step 3, which is required to be paid commissions.

Thanks,
Tissa

Hi Oak,

Your account balance included referral 1280849313NPYS who subscribed Aug. 16, 2010 - but who was never successfully charged by PayPal.  PayPal didn't report the failed subscription to us, which is why your APS account reflected a payable balance.  Once we removed 1280849313NPYS, your balance dropped below the payable threshold.

Thanks,
Tissa

I'm waiting for step 3 to be unlocked. I received my receipt saying I'm active, but nothing unlocked yet. It was 5 days ago. Thank you

Done. Apologies for the delay.

Tissa

No one was ever "promised" money since it was a rotator.  But many members did earn commissions of $30 on average, so I just sent you $30 via PayPal as a courtesy.

Tissa

P.S. It was sent to you hrushikes*****@yahoo.com address.

Thanks for letting us know what you would've done.  Now that your question has been answered, and the answer has been explained, this topic will be closed.

Exactly.  A lot of folks who were paid APS referral fees no longer appear on the Total Transparency page, for that reason.  Lewis Syring is just one example; he was paid around $20,000, but his payments aren't included on that list since his account was purged.  Thus the discrepancy.

Hi Erica,

The TrialPay option under Step 3 was discontinued a while ago.

Actually, that's exactly what I'm doing, and it works.

Works for me as well, by design.  The demo link is actually an attention-grabbing presentation, personalized for the local business.  It takes about five minutes to create, and is designed to make the local business call you.

Your account was 'APS Lite', which is different than the standard APS account.

The figure at the top of the forum is correct.  To date, $711,518.80 has been paid in APS referral fees.  The 'Total Transparency' page hasn't been updated in a long time.

The reason you can't log in yet is because you haven't clicked on the confirmation link that was sent to your Gmail account.  You have to click on that link, agree to the Terms, and then you'll be able to log into your APS account.

True, and I used to know how to spell competition. lol

HA!  Actually, it's not really competion as such; Netflix has virtually no true competitors in its space.  It's the proliferation of broadband access.  With more and more people having faster and faster connections, more people are downloading more movies - which means Netflix has to pay more in licensing fees for the movies.  That's their biggest cost.  Streaming the movies themselves costs them pennies per movie - literally.
