Topic: The 3 Steps to Success

If you're an “old timer” with ACME People Search then you have heard it preached a million times. And if you are a “newbie” then you are going to hear it over and over again.

Tissa has a favorite acronym.

M.A.P.

And it stands for Market, Advertise, and Promote.

The point being that you have to map your road to success.

Nobody is going to hand you some “secret” success formula that is going to make you rich overnight. It doesn't matter if it's a “Magic Bullet”, “Google Cash Detective” or any of the other systems out there that promise a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Truth is there very well could be a pot of gold out there waiting on you. But to get to the end of that rainbow you have to take the steps necessary to get there.

Literally!

And that means to be truly successful with ACME People Search one MUST complete all 3 steps!

There are lots of great tools out there that can help you make money online. But unless you are willing to take the time on how to work those tools, implement them, test them, and invest in them, then no tool is mysteriously just going to start pumping money out of an ATM Machine for you.

ACME People Search is a tool.

It now has 9 income streams built into it.

5 of those work with your search engine:

Clickbank
HD Publishing
MyLife
Adsense
Commission Junction (CJ)

By learning how to target the niches geared to these products one can make money by marketing, advertising, and promoting their search engine web site.

That is why it is so important to complete Step 2.

One must brand their search engine with their own domain. This needs to be done so they can effectively M.A.P. their search engine. Having your own domain not only gives you credibility but it is also necessary if you want to M.A.P. using pay-per-click or seo methods.

4 of the income streams work for the ACME business opportunity:

Hostgator
GDI
GVO
Referral Program with Residual Income

ACME provides 3 different static referral links that can be used to M.A.P. the business opportunity. Those are the Presell link (the one with Tissa's house on it), the $125 Proof Board, and the Direct Signup link. Each has it's unique purpose and it's important to use them properly.

The Presell link can be used for most advertising campaigns whether it be pay-per-click, classifieds, email, etc. That page presells the business opportunity for you and then directs your prospects to the Direct Signup page.

The $125 Proof Board should be used in conjunction with other advertising such as the Presell Link. One does not want to use the $125 Proof Board link as their primary link because it tends to attract people who are just looking for a quick $125 and are not really looking for a long term business. These people might sign up with Step 1 but they hesitate to spend money to complete Steps 2 and 3. So use the $125 proof Board link for verification purposes only to demonstrate to prospects that people really do get paid with ACME People Search.

The Direct Signup link should be used if one is preselling the programming themselves without using the Presell link. For example, if one has created a blog explaining the benefits of ACME People Search then the Direct Signup link could be provided as a way for their prospects to go ahead and join the business.

By referring prospects to the ACME People Search business one can make commissions from Hostgator, GDI, GVO, and the Referral Program.

And that's why it's important to complete Step 3.

One must subscribe to Step 3 to open up the door to making those huge commissions with the Referral Program.

We are often guilty of referring to marketing, advertising, and promoting as it pertains to different advertising techniques such as pay-per-click, traffic exchanges, and other such methods. Or to search engine optimization techniques as it pertains to wordpress, backlinks, etc.

But we really need to start focusing on getting our prospects to understand the importance of marketing, advertising, and promoting by getting them to complete all 3 steps FIRST!

Bottom line, if someone is truly serious about building a long term business and making an income online then they will complete all 3 steps. Otherwise, they are just wasting their time and yours.

As Tissa has said recently, he doesn't have time anymore for people who aren't dedicated to building their business and he wants to put together a team of people with common goals to achieve success.

Our goals should be the same and we should impress them upon all our prospects.

If you want to succeed with ACME, THEN COMPLETE ALL 3 STEPS!

why are we still promoting My Life as an income stream when they are not accepting affiliates and have not been for a while? I keep being rejected by Adsense for poor quality

MyLife is still being used by a lot of affiliates. Tissa is working on finding another service like it for those who cannot join MyLife right now.

What web site are you using when applying with Adsense? If you are not being approved then it is a good idea to create ablog and start posting to it over about 10 days. Then apply again to Adsense using your blog web site.

Maybe we Acme member can come up with something to replace it. We already know there a need for it so what we need to do is fill it.

I will definately do that. Thank you. I do have a question, and I am not trying to be negative. When I signed up I was excited about the opportunity to earn commissions from a cpa program, but come to find out My Life decided not to add new affiliates. OK, no ones fault.I think I should have been told that before hand, but it's all good. Now, in order to complete the steps, I had to use my sponsors affiliate id. So, my question is this: is that who the commission goes to for the traffic that I drive to my search engine via article marketting and paid advertising like ppc?

I've heard it mentioned that you can join MyLife through CJ as a workaround. That might be something to investigate.

What exactly is CJ and I sign up as a publisher, correct? How do we earn commissions from CJ when we promote our search engine?

Re: The 3 Steps to Success

Great post Gary and I couldn't agree with you more.  When I worked in insurance sales my district manager was very big on using motivational techniques to help us succeed in the field.  One of the analogies he use to give as an example was that if you were planning a drive to New York City, you know that you're going to NYC, but without using a map to get there, you won't.  The same applies in finding success, you need that MAP (set of goals) to find your way there.  We are supplied with tons of knowledge and tips here at the forum to help us find success, but all the knowledge and all the tips in the world that we may learn will do little good without having the inspiration or motivation that we need to utilize that knowledge.  Thanks Gary!

Re: The 3 Steps to Success

Thanks for enlightening me. You have answered my questions in mind. So far I already started my marketing, advertising and promotions. I don't believe in luck though. I firmly believe you need to be familiar with the techniques of an effective affiliate in order to make it through this competitive affiliate marketing world. Once again thank you for sharing what you have learned.

Re: The 3 Steps to Success

Great post Gary and a very convincing exclamation point at the end.  This is experience being shared first-hand and a very timely explanation here after seeing a lot of posts wanting to cancel and loosing heart with the program seeing that they have not even absorbed at least 1/10th of the income opportunity of the business.  Some really treat APS as their main line of business, others just want $125 and split.  The transitions of APS have been for the betterment of its members and information like these would be of great value to all members maintaining the business and newbies wanting to start their own business.

Great post!!!

Re: The 3 Steps to Success

Great post Gary. I started promoting my campaigns as a three step plan instead of just signing up for the step one and $125 because I can't keep my 15 percent rating due to people in my downline sitting at step one in spite of several attempts to get them to step 3.

Plus one from me for your post.

Thanks, Laura
