Topic: One more reason to love GDI!

I have learned new information from Tissa on his Webinar today regarding the Widgets from GDI. They are super cool ones.

I will navigate you to where exactly they are:

1. Logon to your GDI account.
2. Click on the 'Build you website' menu on the left. This will open up the ws Sitebuilder to edit you web pages.
3. Click on the edit icon next to any of your web pages that you have already created.

The new window that opens up after this will have a floating menu on which you can click on:

Gallery -> Widgets

There you can find 100's of widgets on games, money, family, photos, videos, clocks, education, news, sports, technology, music, pets and weather.

Each one of these Widgets can be targeted to a different Geographic’s. This is such a super cool stuff that you can group all the widgets related to games on to one of your web page, all sports related widgets on to another and much more.

Seriously this provides such a wide opportunity to market GDI as each one of these widget is a product so to speak.
Watch todays webinar from Tissa to see a video on how to get to these widgets and how to add them to your web pages and also on how to embed the search engine on your GDI hosted web pages.

Agreed....that GDI has some cool features with the sitebuilder that I did not know about either.

Seriously. I was all excited about it when Tissa showed that  during the webinar. Since I have been using HostGator to host my search engine, even I did not poke around much with the GDI site builder. But these widgets and the fact that you can embed the search engine on to their web pages is real cool.
