APS Income Streams In Detail
Part 1 - ClickBank, HD Publishing, Trial Pay, Commission Junction and AdSense (Step 1 Income Streams)

Most APS members knows that there are multiple income streams in the APS program and they know that they are Clickbank, HD Publishing, Mylife, AdSense, GDI, Hostgator, GVO and APS referral fees.  But does everyone know where they are in your Search Engine and what specific services are offered in our Search Engine and how we earn with it?  This post will reveal how each income stream is offered in our Search Engines and how we can promote these to fully benefit the APS program... and not only by referrals.

1.  ClickBank - It is no longer a question that ClickBank is one of the most popular affiliate programs in the internet today.  We become a ClickBank Affiliate once we sign up under Step 1 but how do we earn from this?  Here is how:

a.  SEARCH BY PHONE - if we promote this link, people can search any individual in the 50 states of USA by phone number.  This invokes PhoneDetective.com, a ClickBank product.  If the traffic you refer to your website searches a phone and pays for the info or subscribes for a 1 year service, you earn commission from this transaction.

b.  SEARCH BY SSN - if we promote this link, people can search any individual in the 50 states of USA by SSN.  This invokes SSNRecords.org, another clickbank product.  If the traffic you refer to your website searches a SSN record and name and pays for the info or subscribes for a 1 year service, you earn commission from this transaction.

c.  RUN A BACKGROUND CHECK - Now this is one of the powerful links that can be very attractive to a lot of people doing people search and background check.  This invokes InstantBackgroundReport.com, another clickbank product.  Again, information revealed by the search performed here is downloadable thru a subscription.  Any transaction completed thru this clickbank product earns you commission.

d.  FIND EMAIL ADDRESSES - EmailFinder.com, another ClickBank product, will allow people to see the IP address and location of the email.  If the searcher will want to download the name, address, social networks and more info about the email address, he must subscribe to the service of the site which will earn you commission.  The SEARCH button also invokes EmailFinder.com.  Please see section 2b for details.

e.  FIND YOUR ANCESTORS - This is family history made simple and affordable.  Find birth, death, marriage, divorce and historic vital records from one easy-to-use search interface! Discover new connections to your family tree with cemetery listings, obituaries, burial and military records, surname histories, and more.  This function invokes Archives.com, another Clickbank product.  The results are unlocked if your site visitor decides to register and subscribe.  This will instantly earn you commission thru your Clickbank account.

f.  Other ClickBank Products - as an affiliate, you can login to the ClickBank website and create custom HOPLINKS to the products of your choice to market.  There are thousands of products in the ClickBank inventory where you can even add the links by editing the APS Search engine or creating your own landing pages specifically for ClickBank products.

2.  TRIAL PAY - When your site visitor searches for a name and press the SEARCH button, immediately the system performs a search and displays the search results.  Your visitor now have an option to unlock all search results by clicking on the link Register for FREE to Unlock All Results!.  This will now invoke Trial Pay where your visitor can register by following the instructions given.  Upon completion of the registration, an activation email will be sent.  Upon activation, the member is given the link where the results of his recent search are unlocked.

Currently, unlocking search results are only available for your clients whose addresses are US based.  People outside the US may not be able to unlock search results.  I just do hope this soon may be available for people outside the US since we could also be looking for relatives who migrated in the US years ago.

Similar with Adsense, refrain from UNLOCKING your search results using your affiliate account.  Unlocking results will earn you commission, so Trial Pay may penalize or ban your account once it is discovered that you yourself are unlocking results to earn yourself commissions.

3.  HD PUBLISHING - This is the last of the income streams that an APS member will enjoy under Step 1.  This is invoked under the BACKGROUND CHECK link after performing a search in your search engine.  The specific website called by this link is Net Detective.  Upon registration of your visitor with Net Detective, you earn commission.

4.  COMMISSION JUNCTION (CJ) - this was just recently added into our search engine and is also linked with the BACKGROUND CHECK link after performing a search in your search engine.  Like Clickbank, CJ offers more services in its website that you can separately create a campaign with to earn commissions.  A detail discussion on this can be seen on this thread.

a.  SEARCH SOCIAL NETWORKS (Facebook and More!) - This is a very useful search tool if you want to find out what account a person in the US is using in Facebook, LinkedIn, Myspace, Flicker, Friendster and more.  This feature invokes USSearch.com, a site affiliated with Commission Junction.  If your site visitor decides to get the report, he must enter his order details together with the payment information.  The system will then send the information thru his email.  If the transaction pushes thru, you will earn commission from your CJ account.

4.  AdSense - This is applicable if you have your own branded website.  We normally use a website other than our search engine since Adsense will not approve anymore replicated websites.  Many APS members have already registered with AdSense using their branded APS search engines that is why you may find it hard to register your branded search engine since many already exists with AdSense.  If thousands will have similar content for AdSense, surely it will not make sense anymore.  AdSense, once approved will give you a code to put into your website.  This will display advertisements wherein you can earn from clicks of your site visitors.  It is a PPC campaign in your very own site.  Just make sure you don't click ads on your own site or AdSense may penalize or ban you for good.

These are the basic links in our APS Search engine which is worth knowing.  By knowing how each link works, we can now create specific campaigns to maximize the first three income streams.  This list is updated as of April 15, 2010 upon introduction of the latest income stream which is TRIAL PAY replacing MYLIFE.

Trial Pay is just initially integrated with our search engine.  During the 12 April 2010 webinar, Tissa mentioned more features which includes getting contact information with our search engine visitors.  I'll be updating this thread whenever new features are updated for our search engine and Step 1 income streams.
