Topic: Very thankful

Hi everyone,

I joined Acme People Search June 25th.  Just for fun today I decided to re read all of my questions and replies from people in this forum.

The first thing I noticed is how ignorant I was when I first joined.  I was so excited when I understood one more thing.  I was lost.

In my emails I started writing to most super sponsors back in June and the help and replies I got were awesome.  I was never left without an answer.  I may not have understood the answer that was because I was going too fast too soon.

I've come to realize, this isn't a race.  It took the owner of this company 10 years, why would I expect my hard work to be paid to me with in months.

I have less time now to work on this program then I have in the past however, one thing for sure, out of all the online programs I've tried, APS is the best.  The owner is transparent, the super sponsor are super and I have not been disappointed once here, not once.  They say it as it is and Tissa will be the 1st to tell you, "It isn't easy folks" however, it is possible.

I personally want to thank most of the super sponsors that replied to me way back in June, July because of your loyalty to the program and your belief in it, is a huge reason why I stayed here.

So if I have not done this in the past and I have not thank you personally, I am doing it now.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to answer me by email because now I realize how valuable that is because your not getting points on the forum, you didn't force me to write to the forum, you encouraged me and you answered my questions whether you were in my up line or not.

I am an honest person, if anyone has any doubts about this program and you want me to testify, just email me and I'll be honored to assure you, this online program is legit, it is the only one with unlimited help and the owner does "Pay it forward"

May God continue to bless us all.  Help us to remember that when we make an abundance of money, to remember to share with those who are less fortunate.  This is why Tissa's company will never fall, because he is very serious about "giving back"

Brenda

Re: Very thankful

I completely agree, this is by far the best forum I've ever been involved in. Not only do you get answers to your questions but you feel as if people actually care about helping you. The goal here is to truly help everyone succeed so you get a sense of true teamwork.

It's refreshing to say the least!

Brenda, you've been awesome since the day you arrived and I'm sure that everyone here feels the same. We all have to start somewhere and it's always great to see those who were complete beginners start to move forward.

I hope everyone follows in your footsteps smile

Re: Very thankful

Brenda, that was very refreshing and so true for me too!!! It is not a business for unexperienced marketers , as I just read in another thread, however it is possible. As all things are by the Grace of God smile
However, you have to have perceverance, patience and push forward at all times. It sure is NOT a fast money maker, but in the long term we can find success here !!!
I keep telling you I remember the first few sacrifices you made when you joined, but I new then, in spite of your insecurity that you would not back down. That is the KEY!!!!
That was a great post, a great self reflective look at 6 months, and I really felt it helpful to newcomers so I gave you a +1!!

Blessings smile

Re: Very thankful

There is no other forum like it.

Tissa has created a true people building machine. He has learnt to help others to develop their skills and bring forward their star qualities. The main reason we are succeeding and passing it on is because somebody else beleived in us, Tissa!

He truly leads by example when it comes to paying it forwards. If anybody really wants to make it here then watch and learn from Tissa himself.

All the people who are already doing this and who are taking the steps in the right direction are the SS's. Becoming a SS is like a reaching a milestone and it is from there that you should up your game.

Great post Brenda, as always smile

Re: Very thankful

See what I mean!  You try to thank others for what they've done to help you get this far and they fire back how helpful I've been.  I don't feel like I have been but I know I have been because enough of you have said so.  However please, understand this post is because I truly am humbled how this whole process is unfolding.

Ditto to you to Angel - even though I'm not rich YET I sure love this place and I'm so glad because I've meet some amazing caring loving people.  Some bad apples too, but that is ok.

Nadine - what passion and strength you have.  I'm sure it isn't easy being in your position however, I am glad you use this forum to up lift a lot of spirits or up lift a lot of newbies to hang in there.  It is a gift God gave you so until your situation changes, continue to use what God gave you because your posts shine of joy.

007007 - so very true, I can't help feeling like the good hearted people in this forum is so strong that when someone tries to bring tricks, wrong doings or evil thoughts here, they either can't help but become more like us or they run away because they can't stand all the kindness.  Sounds corky but true.

Tissa and everyone here, listen up, we are an amazing team of people wanting to help the best we can.  Some of us can help with money, some of us can help with experience, some of us can help with inspiration and some of us can help just by hanging in here and learning to earn.

Tissa is the only one who can help you with money by you becoming a super sponsor.  How do you become a super sponsor, just help other people in this forum no matter who they are while helping yourself, that's it.  Tissa will notice this if you are sincere and he will pay your monthly cost to stay in his progam.  Crazy but true!

Re: Very thankful

Hi Folks,

Great post.
I have learned so much being involved with APS.
I have been on the internet for years. I got my first PC way back in 1979.
A Tandy Rainbow (which I still have).
I remember the old BBS system.
My marketing experience is basically Ebay which I have been doing since the middle 90's but ebay has gotten tough for me as I use to hit yard sales and made an excellence in the past. That has dried up.
I only have few referrals to date but I am worried because I am learning how to get more everyday from my online education.

Nadine I have to disagree with you a little bit. "It is not a business for unexperienced marketers".

I consider myself unexperienced. However with the education I am getting I will become an experienced marketer as I think anyone can if they are willing to put in the effort.

Education is ongoing.
We didn't go to the first grade and graduate and it is the same with this business.

I will succeed.

Hi Brenda,

You are right that this is not a race for success.. Yes it took Tissa 10 years to get where he is today.. I treat this as a business..  Everyday, I make sure that I learn something new by reading, either it is in this forum or on WA... I don't look what I am making now, I look what I could be making in the future.. This Forum is awesome and so are the people...

You are a smart woman. I now feel the same way as you about treating this program like a business.

At first I was hungry for instant money and decided to start giving the World Wide Web a try.  Then I did the big “ Tissa No No” I joined at least 10 different Affiliate Marketing programs including APS.

I’d swing from super high excited to super low fed up.  I was running around in circles every time I learned something new, I’d try it out, and that would lead to a new way or a different suggestion from 10 different Affiliate Marketing programs.

I don’t remember the exact day but suddenly I realized I was getting no where!  The only thing that gave me motivation to continue was APS because of the forum.  Some where, some one said something to me that clicked, ENOUGH, your going in circles and you’re driving yourself mad.

Sure enough, not long after that Tissa reminded us all, stop joining programs and start working the one or ones you have.  I decided I was going to drop 6 of my other programs and stick to APS and 3 others.

I am much happier, less confused and like you said, I am treating this like a business and I will keep my balance in check.  APS with the financial support from Tissa and the best, supportive, informative, sometimes funny, sometimes stupid forum I’ve ever been privileged to come across.

I don’t know you all personally, and to be honest, it would be overwhelming at this point in my life, but I do know, when I log into my back office and decide it is time for a webinar or time to reads some posts, I’m being very honest when I say, I truly feel safe, comfortable and blessed to come across this program.  I love seeing your faces and your comments.

Money isn’t the issue anymore, Like Tissa said, we could make us 100’s, 1000’s or even 10,000’s, unless we help others with the little bit we have now, we’ll never get satisfied.

Blessing to all of us, let us help ourselves so we can help others, one person at a time.

Tissa

cool  I hope this little Smilies shows up, I didn't hear that in the webinar.   My shades are hiding my tears.

When I was raising my kids, I'd get on the phone and it was like I was a magnet, they'd find me anywhere and what they had to say was always too important to wait until I got off the phone.  That was soon fitted.  Now my kids are gone, people can call me just about anytime except between 12 - 1 pm depending on the webinars days and if I can steal an hour for myself.....and guess!!!  I got 3 phone calls yesterday during the webinar and I was saying to myself "calm down, this will be tapped" but it just kills me....so instead of getting angry or instead of hanging up on them, I listened, excepted the fact that I couldn't change the situation then sure enough the webinar was done.  I was lucky get 15 mins of it all together.

So thank you for your kinds words Tissa.  You have an amazing team and you are a great role model.

Cheers to APS and the forum

Brenda

Re: Very thankful

This forum is trully like an extended family, to all of us who with the hardships and successes we just keep pushing on. The enviroment of the forum is very positive, especialy because of the tune given by the 'Conductor'. The orchestra is playing just right! There's no hype in his mentoring, just real life experiences, and simple direction of perseverence. Tissa's honesty and his paying forward and his leading by example has a lot to do with the success of the APS and the forum, but at the same time the awesome members who are dedicating a part of their every day activity to help others, and the wonderful talent they display each and every day.

I can honestly say that this is the most honest business opportunity, even with the few things that probably need some tuneups now and then, but nevertheless, we are going forward. Is it easy? No, it's not. But it has a solid foundation that we must continue to build on, to bring it to higher levels, and do it consistently. It will take some time, but it can be done!

I'm so proud to be a part of such wonderful group of people I've had the honour to meet in this forum, and if I'd have to name them, I'm afraid that the list would be too long, and I don't want to live anyone out.

Yes, sometimes it's not easy, but the key is to never ever quit! Just keep doing something good for your business, and good things wil surelly happen!

And Gary, the forum monitor, isn't he a wonderful man! We've got some excellent mentors around here folks! Just keep leaning and acting upon it, and everything will be just fine!

Keep up the good work you guys,

Mike

Thank you for the compliment of saying that I am a smart woman.. I really don't feel like I am a smart person.. I quit going to school after 8th grade. The learning I got thru the years was by making mistakes and bad choices.. I believe that anyone can do this if they keep a positive attitude, set goals and realize that waking up tommorrow rich is not going to happen. This Forum is awesome and I met a bunch of wonderful people that I enjoy talking to.. I also enjoy helping others in what I know.. I like to help others to succeed as I am succeeding in affiliate marketing..

You just did it again, you are a very smart woman!  What does schooling have to do with it?
Do you know how much schooling Tissa has?
You may not have schooling education but you have life skills.  Bless you for opening up to us and showing others here, we are from all types of backgrounds.  I quit in grade 10, after having my kids I went back to school just to finish it and believe it or not Quebec paid me good money to go back to school.  So yeah...who wouldn't!  So I'm like you, I am who I am because of life experience.  That is why I called you a smart woman! You have the right way of looking at life and at this company, you will succeed.  Keep up the great work and yes, we are in the right place.

I have just joined APS and it still remains to be seen.  But I will tell you that I have wasted a lot of money that I could have used otherwise on something more important.  In saying that, I would like to let anyone out there who has gone through the same things know that if you are truly serious about starting a home-based business or just trying to earn a little extra to make ends meet, you can't give up.  I am a very optimistic person and I believe that sooner or later I will run across a program that will help me with my budget.  I can't begin to tell you the number of things I have tried and how hopeless I have felt when I have spent hours online and sent thousands, and I do mean thousands, of emails imploring for help and have gotten no where.  If you have the drive, the confidence and the hope, you can accomplish anything.  I, however, have the stubborness of not giving up.  Maybe APS is the one.  I surely hope so, and by reading some of these posts on this forum, I have gotten a little more hopeful

Glenda...

WWWWWOOOOOOWWWWW............. WHAT MORE CAN ANYONE ADD OR WRITE, AFTER ALL THOSE POSTS OF YOURS big_smile ??????????? Well, beats ME, I admit wink !!!
So I just FELT LIKE giving you the Thumb-UP for sharing with us all your positive, refreshing, success story about APS - And though I (STILL) don't know you - I feel really happy for you - well done smile !!!

I won't deny the fact, that I've decided to STAY 95% LOYAL to APS, from the first moment I joined it , and it remains the same now too ! I STILL WAIT patiently for MY fruits to be harvested, as I admit I've put a HUGE EFFORT & "trial & erroring" (including spending money on promotional-Tools & programs, that came out as a total waste of time & money !) in order to succeed with APS, promote & advertise it the right way, etc. !!! And still haven't made a single referral out of it .... + the fact, that I've been badly sick for the last 2 1/2 weeks now, with my son, AND STILL NOT GIVING-UP, AS HARDEST AS IT'S , ALSO DOING MY BEST TO COME TO THE FORUM, AND DOING THE BEST I CAN TO HELP OUT HERE, IN ANY WAY I CAN !!

So Bottom-line - I'll surly stick with APS, that's for sure, Hopefully , that my efforts until now will also be recognized by Tissa, who does seem to be a "fair-player" in this field, and even more smile !

And just last thing, Glenda, I'd like to ask you - COULD YOU PINPOINT AT A SPECIFIC KIND OF PROMOTING, ADVERTISING METHODS, THAT PROVED TO BE THE MOST COST-EFFECTIVE THROUGHOUT ALL THIS TIME ??? IF SO, I'LL BE EVEN MORE THANKFUL smile !

Keep up the good work, wishing you the best of success in the future too, AND TO US ALL - AMEN !!!

Hi Orly,

I had to put my golden lab down today and it really hard to say goodbye.  He was in a lot of pain.  I cried so much and so hard I've had a headache all day.

Please know this is a learning process.  I found the Thirty Day Challenge very helpful and Wealth Affiliate.  If you can not afford WA then try The Bum Marketer.

I have not found any sure way yet except keep learning, keep trying and keep asking.

Please do not give up.  Try daily to work alittle more towards your online business.

Have a nice weekend

Re: Very thankful

Hi Chris,

Yeah the bags under my eyes are unreal.  I am much better now, thank you.  God he was beautiful.  He was only about 7 months when he was running fast back home here, his left leg went into a groundhog hole but his body didn't stop going forward so he pulled his leg out of his hip.  Paid for 2 operations but he never really fully recovered.  4 years later and about 2 weeks ago I noticed he was sometimes not putting his leg down but the next day he'd be fine.  However, today, after coming in from out side, he wouldn't put his leg down, he was breathing heavily and he couldn't sit or lie down.  He was making vocal noices and that was enough, I couldn't take him being in pain anymore.  I was with him for 20 mins while he was sedated and he calmed right down and peacefully his heart stopped but so did the pain.  He was only 4 years old however, it was an injury that would never heal and the pain was unbearable for him and me.

Anyways, I know I am off topic.  No one has to write to me about the dog because I know you all feel badly about it and I do thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  I'm much better now and it is normal to grieve for our pets because they are so loyal and so devoted to us.  I had to be unselfish an let him go.

Life and death are all part of the deal.  I have a lot to be greatful for.  Including Barley for 4 years.  This time, it isn't Chris's fault!  I don't blame you Chris, I actually never have smile

Brenda, this is so well phrased.  To avoid the second is to avoid the first.  We're not meant to avoid either one, and by grieving you are living.
