Welcome to the forum Gelato22! Yes, you can post the referral links in your Facebook account or whatever social networking sites you have. It's indeed a good way of letting your friends know of your latest venture.

But don't forget to advertise as well thru other means so your NSE can reach a wider audience. Just search previous posts for tips and guidelines on doing so.

Gellato22, facebook is allowed as was stated earlier, but be cautious who you promote to. You can post on your wall, anything (within reason) you want, but if you start to email others and offer them your program, especially if the info was unsolicited or the person in not a close personal friend you can get shut down (your membership suspended) for doing this. Not that you would, but many people I have unfortunately befriended have done this by sending out bulk emails daily to all their friends concerning a "new business opportunity" to excess. This facebook has stiffened penalties for offenders and tightened their restrictions concerning promoting businesses to others. Hope this helps! PS. To get back onto the subject of Forum Marketing, I would just like to add this is a very very under rated method of free advertising it is a complete marketing method in it's own right, I for one have seen results from very little effort, done properly I believe this one free resource could be your only advertising method you need to make an income online.

I have allocated specific time for each forum to help me balance my involvement without

Here is a great video by Derrick VanDyke on forum marketing.  He also shows a neat trick on how to get all your forums open at once using firefox tool bars.  I've learned something new.

Like anything else, you'll need to track your results when you do forum marketing by having a dedicated tracker for each post or forum.  You can get link trackers from budurl or itshrunk.  Otherwise, it could be a waste of time.
