Same here, the $125 is gone. Bummer! Like Mike said, he would be nice if it is grandfathered. Oh well. I have faith in Tissa. He has always been fair and always looks at the bigger picture. I'm sure once this new program is rolled up, everyone will be happy. Just have trust in Tissa and faith in yourself to succeed. Tissa has always given everyone the platform for earning. I believe now that he is giving us a better and bigger platform.

Well, it is still changing though the $125 is still gone

I do hope it changes back. I guess it should have been
considered already earned but then again, Tissa knows
better.
We wait. :)w
last week i was due 222.00 payable on 08/01/10 and then everything changed and i was not paid. so this is not a surprise to me. i thought it was just the program changing it's payout.
Hi Paul,
If you are planning on direct linking to GDI, try this strategy instead. It's working really well for me. Just a thought.
Somesh.
Yes, my Referral Fees Payment has changed too. Let's the reprogramming finished.

Thanks Chris, it is not for Pay Per Call but Acme Pay Per Call.

Mine is $0 as well.
Hope it's not a permanent $0.00, just a temporary changeover.

Everybody just sit tight until Tissa announces that the gremlins are through with their changes.
Thank you Gary, will do.
What Gary said.
While we continue to revamp the APS referral program, these changes are certain:
1) The $125 bonus has been eliminated due to false advertising by too many affiliates (i.e. "$125 in 24 hours just for joining!")
2) Commissions for Step 1 referrals have been eliminated since anyone can create an APS account, confirm a free email address, and complete Step 1.
Tissa
NEVERMIND editted I will wait to hear from you.

I think to be fair and as promised, Tissa should at least have paid the balances accumulated till date and started afresh instead of totally eliminating the balances. This is my view.
In my case, initially I have spent money to bring in the referrals. It is not much but at least, I have made some start. Since, now I am not able to spend on paid advertising, I don't have new referrals. You know what type of referrals you get from FREE ADS.

Hi Sir T,
Great day!
Just some questions regarding the changes:
1. What would be the payable threshold amount for first payout with the elimination of the $125 GC? Will it still be $200? What about the succeeding payout, still $50?
2. With the elimination of Step 1 referral fees, the Step 3 Average Conversion Rate and 400% Performance Bonus would become irrelevant ( I guess). Isn't it that the step 3 referral fee should be $15?
3. Would the "45 consecutive days" subscription will still be required? Or just as long as one is currently subscribed? ![]()
I asked so I can update the guide with the changes so as not to be confusing.
Regards
Rod

I respect your view Sharath, but I have to disagree. Other than the fraud and misrepresentation, another reason the APS referral program is being changed is because APS loses money with the current system (#2 here).
This change to the APS referral program is long overdue. Continuing to pay balances based on the old system would mean continuing to lose money. And that wouldn't make any business sense. Especially when APS is heavily vested in providing members with the tools needed to conquer the next frontiers of affiliate marketing (pay-per-call, local lead gen, and mobile marketing).
Thanks for your understanding,
Tissa
Thanks for your reply Tissa... Nothing more for me to say... You are the boss.:D

Tissa is right. He is losing the business. As an example, he paid me over 10K as referral fees in over one year but when I calculate, I dont think he made that amount. Tissa might have calculated in over all and paid the amount. Thanks Tissa, I will never forget you.
Also I didnt get paid last payment even though I had $200 and I have lot pending payment, I believe it will be over $500 in total. Tissa, if you are losing the business. Please dont pay me anymore by mistake. I will be happy without your referral fees.
But I will keep sending you the referrals as my APS website will be at the top of google in coming days. Although I have taken out your ads from my high traffic website. Still lot to come from me. Please dont mind of my conversions rate as it is not in my control.

As we continue to modify the APS referral program, I wanted to update everyone on what else to expect.
First, a lot of folks have PM'd me or posted concerns about being approved (or not) to earn APS referral fees. Rather than go down the slippery slope of who to approve and who not to approve (and having to explain why or why not), I decided to take a different approach (still with an eye to towards deterring fraud):
Everyone is approved, but no one will be paid referral fees unless they refer paying customers to APS. I'm sure everyone can agree on the logic and fairness of this approach. It's pretty much a no-brainer, and no business-minded individual would object.
Here are some more details that are also performance-based (continuing from #1 and #2 above):
3) No commissions paid for Step 2 referrals. In reality, this affects almost no one, since almost everyone is using APS to grow their GDI downlines or earn HostGator commissions (in which case Step 2 commissions aren't paid anyway).
4) Although commissions for Step 1 referrals have been eliminated, commissions for Step 3 referrals will be increased significantly to $10 (up from $3.00).
5) Monthly recurring commissions for Step 3 referrals will also be increased significantly, to $10/month (up from $4.50/month).
6) The Average Conversion Rate required to earn Performance Bonuses will be lowered from 15% to 5%.
7) If you reach 5%, you'll be paid $20 per Step 3 referral. ![]()
EDIT -> 8) The minimum payout threshold has changed to $50 (down from $200).
What has not changed:
- In order to be paid APS referral fees, you must be subscribed to Step 3 for at least 45 days prior to pay day.
- Your APS referrals must maintain Step 3 for at least 45 days in order for you to earn the referral fees above.
- Zero tolerance for abuse, fraud or misrepresentation of any kind, as determined by APS at its sole discretion.
Please note that we are still working on implementing these changes, so the payable Referral Fees showing in your APS back office are not accurate. As I mentioned here however, all your referral links are working and all your referrals are still being tracked.
Thanks,
Tissa
Tissa, You're awesome. Nice work. Very fair plan.
I have a question. Will the cost of STEP 3 increase?
Simple and Superb ![]()

Yes, this is very fair and I think most people will be happy with it.

I like the changes for 2 reasons:
1) removing the $125 removes the cause of most of the abuse and fraud we were seeing
2) It places the emphasis on getting those S3 signups where it really needs to be for the business opportunity.
I think this will make it much easier to get quality signups. This is a much less confusing system now.
Hi Tissa,
This is great. I think that makes a lot of sense.
It's a lot more solid and foolproof plan, and it's for people to work hard now, and reap the benefits thereof.
And I think it's perfectly fair for you to expect to pay out when you get paid first, otherwise no company can afford it (you will suffer losses instead).
Thanks for putting a lot more thought, foresight and planning into it.
Somesh.
