So there is a lot of discussion about the new "May Day" Google Algorithm changes that took place last month.  Personally, I haven't seen a lot of drop off to my sites, but that is just me.

Anyway, this video by Matt Cutt's really breaks it down and has a lot of good advice about what should be on your websites.

Hey Brett,

Thanks for the heads-up!  I completely missed that one.  I watched the video.  No doubt in my mind why this change hasn't impacted you.

My reading of the tealeaves is that this is small change.  It will have an impact.  But, I'm guessing it will only negatively impact long-tail-keyword sites that completely lack content.  In other words, it's catching those who replace a "replicated site" with a long-tail-keyword site and do not add a couple of pages of content.

Content is still king!
