Topic: Free SEO Analysis - for APS members - first come, first served!

Hi folks,

This is something I just thought of. Since you guys are all such a fantastic bunch, and this community keeps getting better all the time, I thought to provide this value-added service to you.

I use IBP (Internet Business Promoter) - slightly older version, but effective nonetheless - for analyzing and optimizing websites. It's a fantastic tool, and I thought that perhaps some people could benefit from this analysis - even though people might not be able to afford a copy of it themselves.

A while back I used this software to optimize one of my websites, and it has been amongst the top 10 for more than 6 months. IBP will analyze the top 10 websites for your chosen keywords, and give you suggestions to tweak your page by comparing to those top ten sites.

Here is what I can do for you (this is free of cost for APS members, since you guys all rock, and you deserve to get paid forward to in this way):

I can have your page analyzed for SEO and send you back suggestions that the program makes - as a RTF or PDF file. These will contain a lot of suggestions - very detailed - you will be surprised at how helpful this will be for you.

For obvious reasons, I can only entertain one page per person, so send me the one URL you consider the most crucial. So sorry, I wish it could be more, but I don't want to make promises I cannot fulfill.

Here is what you must do:

1. Post here that you need my help. I will go according to the queue here, but also you must PM me (in #2). I will go on a first come, first served basis.
2. Send me a PM with the desired keywords for which you want your website to rank, plus one URL that you want analyzed. Please note that I can only do one set of keywords per URL, due to the shortage of time.
3. Wait for me to get back to you with the analysis report. If you don't hear from me within a week, please PM and remind me again. (Just in case I forget or something slips through the cracks). Include your email, so I can mail you the report.
4. The report will be sent you via email, once I can have the software analyze it for you.
5. If it helps you, please post back here with the results. This is not to give me a pat on the back, lol but more so that people can see the kind of results they might expect, and also the scope of this service.

That's it. Hope this will help anyone out there who can use the help.

I can't guarantee how long I can do this, and I do have limited time (between my IM and creating my own new sites and campaigns, studio work, voluntary projects, sleep, eating, etc. tongue ), so as long as I can keep up with this, I will. Just a plea: please bear with me due to my myriad commitments - it might take a bit of time to get back to you, and I will do this in the background while I work on things. If I can't keep it up, then I might have to withdraw this service, but this is just a test run for now.

A few people have PMed me about this, and Octars has been a great help as well.
After a few problems, where I had to reinstall my software, this is working fine now, and we have been able to cover all requests to date.
I have a request: if you have received your SEO report, please do post back here with your response and any reactions. Thanks a lot. This will encourage others to avail of this free service, plus keep this thread alive. A lot of people may not be aware that this service exists. IBP is not cheap to buy, so at least this way we can share the facility with all of you.
I also have another request: if you are in the queue, please post first here - just so that people know how long the queue is. Then go ahead and PM either Octars or me.

Thanks for the report Somesh. It is very detailed and gave me lots of suggestions on what to do to improve
the SEO on the site that I send you.

This report also shows you the info of the sites you are competing against with your keyword, which is also very helpful.

I haven`t had time to work on it yet but I will get to it, it`s on the to do list smile
I will report back here on what I changed and the effect of it.

I always find IBP very useful and thorough. Every time you change the keywords, you get a chance to compare your site with the top 10 sites for those keywords/phrases, and you get great suggestions on how to tweak your site to come up to their mark.

Your report gave me in depth insight into what what required to improve my site. The report mentioned both the good and the bad, which helped greatly in zeroing in on what needed to be handled from the SEO perspective. I'm certain that without the report I'd still be groping around to find out exactly what I needed to do to make things right on my site, and the report simply crystallized everything so that I could do what needed to be done without wasting time.

BTW, folks, I just wanted to underscore the value that we (Octars and I) are offering to people here at the forum for free - especially to folks who don't have access to these great tools - for whatever reasons. thank you mr Somesh Thakur and Octars i recieved my seo report and done some hard work on my site to improve the ranking of my site. i couldnt have done this with out your help with providing the seo report. The report isnt hard to understand and its up to each individual to implement the changes the report says you should do so if any one is like me (a little thick at seo work) or some one who wants to improve there ranking on search engine then they should take up your kind offer. I started at 6% now i am at 86% for a high ranking on Google.com now i only have about 10% to get.

Excellent! This is what I had hoped for when I started this thread, and good thing I have Octars to help me out. I hope that people start realizing the value of this service - especially since it's such an exhaustive report that is generated, and it would cost you quite a bit otherwise to have this evaluation done.
