Topic: Step 3 Completion

Hi Everyone,

First I would like to thank Tissa and Trish for their response to my support tickets. You were very helpful.
                                                                                             
I have some questions about after Step 3 is completed.

My registered domain name with GDI points to the Step 1 Income Stream of APS. Which is the best link
to advertise for Step 3 the Business Opportunity. When you get the referral link are we to advertise those
long URL's. Do I have to get another Domain Name to advertise the link for all income streams.

In relation to GVO does Tissa provide the email series of messages to use in the eresponder for APS.

Where do I find my adsense codes, I logged into my adsense account and I am only seeing one code (pub.) and APS is asking for 2 codes.

Hi Charmaine

When it comes to your other Acme People Search referral links it is entirely upto you whether or not you want to purchase extra GDI or hostgator domains to forward to your links providing you have the funds to do it.

You can however promote your longer referral links themselves if you wish or simply shorten them using www.tinyurl.com or www.bit.ly services for Free.

Unfortunately I don't think Tissa has created such GVO follow up emails for you to copy and paste. You will have to create your own eresponder emails or this thread will help you:

As for Adsense....

Log into your Adsense account, click "Adsense Setup", click "Adsense For Content", follow the steps to set up your ads and then you will be provided with a code afterwards which will include your "pub" ID and your "Google Ad Slot" Number.

Also if you ever consider to get Hostgator hosting. When you make Wordpress blog withh the feature Fantastico u can create your own link shortner with Pretty Link Plugin.

Login in your Adsense account>>click Adsense Setup>>Adsense for Content>> continue (chose the ad size, there are three recommended sizes)>>continue again>>submit and get code
You will see a box where is the pub code and the google ad slot number.

Its never too late to start learning, what with then resonate in to earnings.

Their really is no 'best' referral link I'm afraid. This is a business where you test and try things out so try them all out and see which one works best for you. Try out each one for about a month or so and which ever one brings you the best results, go with that one. Also, no, you do not have to get another domain name in order to advertise the links!

Hello. You are right, the domain name you purchased from GDI is supposed to be used to host your people search engine and hence promote the step 1 affiliate programs. If you have money and can afford buying another domain name, together with a hosting plan (probably you shouldn't choose GDI for this purpose but rather Hostgator or even GVO, if you are considering joining it because of the autoresponder).

Both GVO and Hostgator offers a very good hosting plan, which supporst unlimited domain names (depending on HG' plan), SQL databases support, fantastico and so on.

If you don't have money to spend at the moment, you can get a free blog from either Blogger or Wordpress to use as a ACME landing page. Create a new blog with a relevant name (the URL will be big too, since it is a subdomain from another company, but it is "cuter" than the referral link URL). Add your ACME referral links to this blog, along with some content that will satisfy your visitors and promote the blog's URL instead of the referral link.

You can also use those URL shortening services too, like bit.ly.

There is no "official" follow up emails list supplied by ACME, but you can find some that our members wrote and were kind enough to share on the forum. Just use the search function and you will find it in no time.

Hi !

The ideal way to build your referral business of APS is to have a separate domain & have it redirected to your affiliate link. You have more choices of referral links once you complete the 3rd step, choose the one you like & redirect to the affiliate link of your choice. This should not cost you more than $8 to $10 to get a domain & redirecting is usually is provided free by domain provider.  Once you start promoting & getting these basics right then you can always move a step forward of creating a landing page in the future.

Thanks so much for all of your responses. smile

They have been very helpful and you know what I have
been searching online for an opportunity, I have joined and
cancelled programs, but I must say that since joining ACME People Search this forum has ignited an enthusiasm in me to want to give this a real try and go the distance.

I don't know much and all these techie stuff but I am sure I would learn so much and build valueable relationships in the process.
