Topic: Should I upgrade my Paypal account to Premier?

Hello everyone

I would like some advice on Paypal, is there a set limit for how much money you can accept within a month for a personal Paypal account? I cant seem to find the stated limit. I have read there was a limit but I do not know where

Assuming I will be getting $1000 this month and the limit for receiving funds per month is $500. what will happen in this scenario?

If possible I would like to remain as a personal account, and paypal replies my mails too slow.

thanks in advance smile

Hi Brandon, I suggest you to upgrade the Type of your Paypal Account if you will get $1000 this month (don't forget to share it with me)  wink. The Personal Type has some limitations.
>> Receive money max $1000 in a month
>> You can't WD in to your credit / debit card

If you want to upgrade your paypal type, just log in to your paypal account then look at the bottom list menu. Click the account link then your will see the upgrade link. Then click it and follow the next instruction.

Actually I have ever done this before. I upgraded from Personal to Premier.

Hope this helps

Whether it is personal, premier or business all of them are free. They are not charging you anything. As always higher version will be better. If you are not running your own business, dont have own products or dont have company. Premier is the standard account person should have.

Hi thanks for your quick reply smile

Also is there any charges when receiving money in a premier account?  for example SS reimbursements or  the APS referral program, will there be additional charges?

I occasionally buy some electronic hardwares overseas to sell locally but not in bulk quantities, but whatever it is I do not sell anything online. Will this affect anything, any additional charges?

Thanks everyone!

I think personal account have some limitations while doing the transactions. As with premier there is no limitation. There is no charges with SS payment with premier account. Premier account is as good as business account, in case of business account only thing is you are branding your paypal account name with your company name.
