I was submitting comments on blogs to build backlinks and on the last one I was just on I got this message when i clicked to submit my comment>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Your location has been identified as part of a reported spam network. Comments have been disabled to prevent spam. ?Any idea anyone?
Hi John
It's either someone has installed an anti-spam plugin on their blog or you have simply been submitting too many comments
on a blog network such as wordpress?
That's my 2 theories any way.

Yes it was probably a word press blog that had something like Askimet installed to prevent what they consider spam posts. I have it installed on both my WP blogs and just love it. The idea of building backlinks is great but you need to be sure not to post comments just for the sake of getting your link in, that sort of thing is obvious to a plug in feature like Askimet.

The best way to get backlinks are to comment on sites that are relevant to your site.
and these type of backlinks are worth far more then a backlink from just any site.

I agree with Joseph and Lintre. You should select blogs which are relevant to your blog. Leaving comments on blogs or forums is OK for backlinks, but the best way is to have backlinks from article directories. Write some articles and submit to article directories.

Thanks everyone,I was commenting on relevant blogs,I was using market samurai to find blogs about Acme People Search and posting quality relevant comments to the blogs,the spam thing only happened one time on just one blog so it probably was some sort of ant-spam plugin I guess ,thanks for letting me know though I was kind of worried.
