Topic: still having problems with adding my HostGator aff. Id to my website

I am still having problems with adding my Host Gator affiliate Id to my website, I tried to use this text link http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/aff … id=shawn, but it wont work, Im using GDI WebSite Builder program to create my website

I've never used GDI's Sitebuilder, but the HTML code to insert a link is:

<a href="http://www.youraffiliatelink.com">The Clickable Text You Want to Appear</a>

Hello. Just create another text box, or a code box, on your GDI sitebuilder page (or edit the existing text boxes) and add the code provided by the member above. Once you insert that code, you will be able to see a blue link (Clickable link...), pointing to the URL (yoururl...).

Remember that you can't use the WYSIWYG editor to enter that code. Choose the "view source" or "view code" option.

You can also type the text you want to become a link and then, highlight the text and click on the Add URl button. Its icon looks like a globe with a clip.
