Are you ready for the Thirty Day Challenge?

Friends, there are few leading super sponsors in our forum who highly recommend people to do the 30 day challenge. I couldn't agree any more. I have been postponing this for very long and this week I finally started it and completed just 2 days of it. Believe me folks; I got mad at the fact that I postponed it for so long.

Take it from me, if you have not done it yet. Start it now, this weekend; as soon as you can. It is of enormous value. All these videos teaches you so much that one can literally pay hundreds of dollars for this if not thousands. And it is Free.

http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/

You do not have to necessarily complete them in 30 days, you can take your time. But, you should complete it, that is important. I am going to complete the entire course before the end of March. Do you want to join me?

The first day materials included selecting Niche and talked about Micro Niche, which is a subset of a Niche. Also they showed how we could use amazon.com and ehow.com to find Niches. If there is a magazine, a book available for something, it can potentially be a Niche.

The second day was even awesome; it was on identifying Niches, Micro Niches, keywords, using market samurai and more. I got altogether a new outlook on Market Samurai after watching these videos.

I would like to form a group here with all the people who are doing the 30-day challenge and those who have already completed it to share all our learning for the benefit of us all.

Again I strongly urge you folks to join and start doing the 30-day challenge if you are not doing it yet.

http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/

Good Luck.
Ramesh

This may have been posted in the past, if so I apologize, but having our content on our word press blogs copied is something that happens too often. Nobody wants to see their efforts so easily taken and used by somebody else who isn't able to create their own content or who may not even be aware that this isn't legal. I installed a great plugin on my word press blogs called "Blog Protector" just click on add new in the plugins in your dashboard, type in the search box Blog Protector and you'll be taken to the install page. Install it and activate it, then go to edit and make sure to check the "right click" protect feature. When this plugin is installed/activated people will be unable to highlight and copy/paste your material and also they won't be able to right click copy/paste.
Linda

Tissa: Suggestion about Step 2

Hey Tissa,
First, let me say that this is a great program that I am having success with and am thankful for. I admire your determination to help people who want to be affiliate marketers.
Here is my question: Have you considered going back to LunerPages or StartLogic for the Step 2 process, or at least promoting them more widely in the back office? I know that HostGator is GREAT for getting people through the door because the start-up costs are so reasonable. However, I lose at least 75% of my referrals in the 60 day waiting period because the steps to pay HostGator are complicated and messy (at least that was my experience). When Lunerpages and StartLogic were promoted within the APS backoffice, my referral commissions were much more profitable ($2000+ verses $600+). I know that we can still use Lunerpages, but Lunerpages is not promoted well throughout the backoffice now, and I find people won't complete the process because they are scared of something they haven't heard of.
Just a thought. If I can get my LunerPages or StartLogic commissions back on track, I will be back in business!
Thanks,
Jenna

8 Reasons Why You Need To Subscribe Annually at Acme People Search

If you are new to this forum and doing some research about Acme People Search than you have came to the right place to research about Acme People Search, research about everything over here before joining. Before doing more research, I want to give you advice that before researching what exactly Acme People Search is, do a research about our Acme People Search community and how awesome we are, This is advice to you if you are new in this forum.

Guys I just want to point some few reasons why other don’t understand that if they subscribe for annually in Acme People Search what we happen to them in future and what benefits they will get from Tissa and Acme People Search. Please add your opinion along with it.

Reasons why you need to subscribe for Annually.

1) One Month Absolutely FREE.

Now you might be thinking if you save $29.95 a month and paying $325 or $329 it does not make sense I don’t know the number and just made up correct me if I am wrong. Yes if you save one month it is big time save if you think in business point of view and if you do an audit yourself for every year, $30 is in your profit if you think as business point of view.

For example if you save $29.95 a month, you could use this money in PPC advertising and you could make 100% more than $29.95 and obviously you should know what are you doing in PPC. I believe this reason should let you to sign up for annually if you are with Acme People Search and with Tissa and with us for long time than you should subscribe annually.

2) FREE Advertising from Acme People Search

If you are member of Acme People Search and if you click on the step 3 account you should know by now that what FREE advertising will be provided to you to grow your Acme People Search Business. If you are guest in our forum than become Acme People Search member before 31 March 2010 and subscribe annually you will provided FREE advertising to grow your Acme People Search business if you are member of Acme People Search.

FREE Advertising Include
Acme People Search will advertise for you through Offline marketing by below advertising way and it will be rotated between us, means who ever subscribed for annually. And the rotation will be rotated through a website.

a) TV ads – You Should know how powerful is TV advertising in offline market
b) Radio – Radio advertising is also one off the powerful advertising in offline marketing. Basically they will be promoting a website and in which our referral link with be rotated
c) Prints ads, Prints cards, Signs, Fliers and Many more, you will find in your back office
d) The most important is PPCalls – The main reasons why offline advertising has become frontier of affiliate marketing is pay per call. Pay per call means you will be assigned a unique phone number which is 24/7 to fully staffed call center. In simple basic words your will be paid per phone lead, you will earn a commission if some calls that unique phone number provided to you. This is awesome reason that you need to subscribe to annually.

3) Acme People Search “I want you to advertise my Acme People Search Business”

The most and obvious reason why Affiliate marketers fails because they are lazy to promote, I believe that online marketing is saturated but they are plenty of traffic, advertising way to make money. Why you need to subscribe for annually if you think that online marketing is too much for you and you don’t have time to give in Acme People Search than you should subscribe for annually. Acme People Search will advertise for you for your Acme People Search business if you don’t have time to learn don’t have time to advertise and obviously I forget this important reason “If You Don’t Have Enough Money To Promte”. Now if you falls in these categories of reasons that you can’t grow your Acme People Search business than you should subscribe for annually.

4) No Headache of Monthly Payment

The main reason why I have subscribe for annually is for this reason, monthly payment is big time headache for me which I will do already, means that I am with Acme People Search for long hall so there is no point to pay monthly every single month. Pay it one off and focus more on business, no need to worry about monthly payment. Main Reason for me to subscribe

5) Earn Up to $151.24 Monthly Residual Income Per Referral

Yes you can earn up to $148.5 per month residual income per referral. I am sure you are confused let me expand it.

a) Earn $4.50 from Acme People Search every month
b) Earn $20 from Wealthy Affiliate every month
c) Earn $1 from GDI every month
d) Earn $2.24 from GVO every month
e) Earn $90 from Shoe money System every month
f) Earn $33.5 from Affilorama every month

Now you can understand how you can earn up to $151.24 every month till today by just promoting Acme People Search. So think that if you subscribe for annually and if you get at least 2 referral from that offline advertising than you get back you annually subscription fee. Isn’t it simple and easy to understand and good reason to subscribe annually?

6) Earn up to $196.98 One Time Commission per referral

Yes you can earn up to $295.98 one time commission per referral and I can expand that as well.

a) Earn $30 from Acme People Search
b) Earn $20 from Wealthy Affiliate
c) Earn $1 from GDI
d) Earn $90 from shoe money system
e) Earn $33.5 from Affilorama
f) Earn $22.47 from GVO

So if you add them all, you will earn up to $196.98 one time commission per referral. Doesn’t it sound great? So it is very simple if you get 2 referral from Offline advertising provided by Tissa your annual subscription fee will be back and you will grow more if you are with Acme People Search for long hall.

7) Monthly Subscription $29.95 might change this Year

This is your opportunity to save more money if you are with Acme People Search for long hall because Monthly Subscription fee might change this year and the probability is very high to increase the monthly subscription so it is your opportunity to subscribe now for annually and save lots of money.

8) Remember that Earn $100 for 5 GDI sign up per week

Suppose you subscribe now for annually and as soon as you do that when the Tissa starts his offline advertising than you might get 5 GDI sign up per week and you will be rewarded $100. So what have you done to get that $100..nothing. So if this works for 3 weeks and you get 5 sign up for each week you will earn $300 which is your Annual Subscription fee, means you are getting back your Annual subscription money.

Now I have pointed out 8 reasons and this 8 reasons should convinced you to subscribe for annually and focus more on Acme People Search. If you subscribe for annually which says to me that you’re committed yourself and you have confidence that you will grow in Acme People Search

But don’t do this mistake that subscribe for Annually and you relax. NO you still have to promote and learn how to market, advertise and promote your Acme People Search Business if you want to grow. Annually subscription and offline advertising is your big time opportunity and extra marketing, advertising and promoting for you. You will do nothing for it just subscribing and continue your own marketing business…so win..win..win everywhere… By the way this offer will end at 31 march and advertising will start at June..I don’t know the extract time and day but if you log in to your back office Tissa will mention everything before starting offline advertising.

I hope this might help you to understand the value of Annual Subscription compare with monthly subscription.
Guys please add your own reason if you have any and explain more along with me the value of Annual Subscription.

Thanks

Alam

What Are The Differences Between Market, Advertise And Promote (MAP)?

Tissa coined the term MAP (market, advertise and promote) and it has been used a lot in the forums. I'm sure there are lots of people here confused if they actually mean the same thing or each one is different and a separate step. It's hard to MAP if you don't know what each one really means. In fact, each one is a separate step and have different tangibles. Once you learn to MAP, then you will definitely have a road map to building your business. Let's take creating a blog as the primary example.

Market

The main focus when you are trying to market is to do keyword research and applied what is known as attraction marketing. In your market research, you want to write a blog that ranks well using targeted keywords and the goal is "to teach the customer what you are doing and how a service or product will benefit them well before they purchase it". You write your blog to teach the customer about APS and all its benefits regardless if it's about your people search engine or the business opportunity with multiple income streams. You have a call to action and you want your visitor to follow through with it. Your objective is to make sure the visitor either opt-into your autoresponder or sign up as a referral. If not, you want them to come back and revisit your blog again because there is so much value content there. The 3 main questions that you wanted to answer your visitors are:

Who are you?
What do you have?
Why should I care?

Advertise

When you have your blog created, you want to advertise and publicize it so people know about it. It could be through PPC, SEO, social media, traffic exchanges, article marketing, forums, video marketing, press releases, email marketing, social bookmarking....both free and paid advertising that gets your blog in front of others. Your goal is to generate more traffic and sell your brand through your blog without spamming others, violating the APS referral agreement or discrediting APS in general. Regardless of how well your blog is done, if you don't advertise it, then nobody will ever see it. You can totally forget about referrals, commissions, page ranking or potential benefits that your blog is supposed to bring you. A lot of people who only used email and nothing else thinks that creating a website is a set it and forget it thing and things would just start happening. Nothing is going to happen unless you advertise it. If you're in for business, then this something you must do.

Promote

This is the follow up step either from your visitor's blog comments or people who opt-into your list or become your referral. You have to actively promote APS in order to get your referrals completing all the 3 steps if they haven't done so. The ideal way to do it is to use an autoresponder and keep your leads or referrals educated about the different benefits and features of APS. Depending on what stage your lead or referral is at, you might have to give them a high level overview of APS first. If you see they are not completely tuned in, then you'll have to work in the mindset too. The benefits of completing all the 3 steps might not be obvious and you have to explain and promote each step separately and possibly even each income stream. You might need to stimulate their thinking by both asking and answering some questions yourself such as:

1) What are the benefits of branding your own people search engine?
2) What are the differences and benefits of having both hostgator and GDI?
3) What are the differences and benefits of Shoemoney System, Wealthy Affiliate and Affilorama?
4) Why use GVO?
5) Why should I subscribe to an annual subscription vs monthly subscription?

As you can see, each step of MAP addresses specific things. So, learning to MAP is very important in growing your business.

Milton

Top 10 Gotchas To Avoid In Building Your Business

Here are a list of top 10 common pitfalls that I see people making when they start their own APS business. Hopefully you can avoid them.

1) Time management

2) Not Treating APS as a business

3) Trying to do many things at once

4) Not spending enough time learning and taking shortcuts

5) Not testing and tracking

6) Not taking consistent actions

7) No system in place

8) Looking for instant gratification

9) Self doubt

10) Trying to do the business in desparation

Time Management

When you're starting out, your biggest asset is your time. If you don't productively use your time, it will go by very quickly and you'll wonder why your business is not growing or having any results. There are many time wasters and the key to productivity is to plan your day. The two questions that you should be asking yourself everyday are: 1) what needs to be done before I go to sleep today? 2) What will I need to do tomorrow?

Not Treating APS As a Business

You need to treat this as a business. The profitability of any business depends on how well it's been run and the commitment of its owners to make it successful. You have to mind your business everyday. Here is a post on what it means to treat APS as business.

Trying To Do Too Many Things At Once

If you try to do too many things at once then you'll be counter-productive. It's more important to stay focus and do a few things well rather than trying to do too many things at once and not mastering any of them. The saying goes, "if you try to be the jack of all trades, then you'll become the master of none." So, don't try to advertise 10 different ways, build a blog while trying to write a bunch of articles, learning how to do a PPC campaign while trying to do SEO on your blog, hitting every traffic exchange out there, and joining every social media network and replying to every email or forum post. Over time you'll learn skills for each one of them but don't try to do all of them at once.

Not Taking The Time To Learn and Taking Shortcuts

Here is an example of a shortcut that Gary advised not to do. Anything that you learn well will only help you in the long run and not take away your time. On the contrary, anything that you didn't learn well could cost you either in money, opportunity or time in the future when that skill is needed the most. When you learn something well, then you can teach it to others, create content to share with others and to brand yourself as an expert. Taking a shortcut without complete understanding may appear to save time but in the long run the costs outweigh the benefits.

Not Doing Testing And Tracking Your Ads

First of all, if you don't have a system in place to test and track your ads, then you're not leveraging your time, money and being effective at all in your advertising. The only way to increase your conversions rate and not your advertising budget is to do split testing. You can read more about it here and here. It will help you identify areas that is not being optimized or marketing gaps that you're not addressing. Whenever you have a gap or leak in your system or advertising, the resulting cost is more of your time and money. Here is a great example from Gary of what split testing could do for you.

Not Taking Consistent Actions

This is a business and it requires consistent action for growth. Think of your business as growing a plant or tree, you'll need to take the action to water it every day to see it grow. You must have a business action plan and take consistent action each day to grow your business. The accumulative actions that you do each day to grow your business is like watering a plant. You can not water a plant once in a week and expect it to live or grow. It's the same way when you grow your business.

No System In Place

Every success business has a system to attract and retain customers. The sooner you can put a system in place to help you market, advertise and promote your APS business, the better off you are. APS is already a system but that's not enough. You have to build your brand, generate targeted traffic, stay in constant contacts with referrals and grow your organization. You need to teach and build your team and continually develop your people. APS and GVO already have 95% of the system components to help you succeed and the remaining 5% needed is that you acquire the necessary skills to integrate everything together so the system works for you. You need to develop leadership in your growing organization as you do this.

Looking For Instant Gratification

There is much truth to the saying, "as you sow, sow shall you reap." A business is hardly a get rich quick scheme and would require some significant effort and action on your part to materialize. There is no instant payout. The law of cause and effect stands. To get consistent results, then you must put in consistent action. This doesn't mean that you will have to work hard forever to achieve great results but that you need to put in the effort in the beginning to reach that point where you can live on residul income alone. You need to always have an end result in mind. Having a system in place and staying focus on the end result will get you there sooner.

Self Doubt

If you can not make a commitment to have your own business, then you're doubting yourself. No successful person ever built a business on self doubt. Success comes from having a certain amount of confidence that things will work out as plan and that you are in control of your own results. If you are always questioning yourself whether this will work or not and always looking for the negative side of the business, then this is not for you. If you are sensitive to what people's opinions are about your business, then you are not ready to start a business either. You need to be honest to yourself and find out what it is that you really wanted in life and how you are going to get there if not with APS.

Trying To Do The Business In Desparation

If you desperately need this business so you can pay the bills, then this is not for you. This is no different than looking for a quick rich scheme. When you are in desparation, then you don't have time to learn, help others or brand yourself as a leader because you need the help more than anybody else. Having your own business means that you have the resources, the time and confidence that you'll achieve profitability through your efforts and hard work. It does not mean that there will be a flood of cash automatically going into your bank account and pay your bills. If you are getting into this business in desperation, the best thing that you can do is to get yourself out of that situation first. When you are ready to move forward, many more opportunites will present themselves to you in due time.

There are probably more pitfalls but I think these ten are the most common ones. The sooner that you realize them, the better off you are. It will save you a lot of time and get you where you need to be much quicker.

Milton

Some Tips On E-Mail Marketing... (Part 2)

Hi everybody. How are you all?

I did say I would be back with another part so let's get down to business! Before I do though, if you haven't yet seen or read the opening part, then here is the link:

http://acme-people-search-forum.com/top … ng-part-1/

One other thing I would like to mention that I did not talk about in the first part is that of tone and how your e-mail comes across to the reader/subscriber. When writing your e-mail you need to have a balance of words. For example don't make it too formal or too informal. The best thing I would say here is to keep it plain and simple. Do not complicate things because that will only make it more difficult for the reader which in return, could result as a lost customer meaning YOU will lose out on both a relationship and money.

The title and what you should write

By title I mean the heading/subject line or whatever else you want to call it. When it comes down to it, this is the main feature that the recipient will read. If it is something that doesn't interest them, your e-mail will go straight to wither the junk folder or the recycle bin! On the other hand, if it is appealing they will open it and see what you have to offer. I have listed some points regarding the subject below:

1) Use strong and effective words. For example 'proven', 'guaranteed', 'powerful', and the one we all love 'free'!

2) Refer to the reader. Make use of the word 'you' or use their name. However, for the subject line I think the 'you' approach would work better because it is a lot more direct and I think it is also more effective. (Make sure you use their name in the e-mail body though!)

3) Here's one that many affiliates and marketers need to use. Be honest and use a relevant title! I have received e-mails where the subject line says something else but the e-mail itself is about a completely different thing! Using misguiding headlines will simply put you and your image in the 'junk folder' where you can 'kiss it goodbye' because no one will bother with you or reading your e-mails.

4) Go out to your local newsagent or anywhere that sells magazines/newspapers and see which ones (titles) get YOUR attention. Why do they get your attention? Learn from them and try to use some in your e-mail campaigns.

5) Be creative and experiment. Try out different things and see which ones work best. This is a business where you need to test and tweak until you have managed to find the right formula/method.

6) Your subject lines need to be both persuasive and be able to 'tease' your reader. Lure them into opening the mail by using effective words, being succinct, being truthful and keeping it short and brief. For example if you have someone in GDI who is NOT an APS member, you could say something like:

'Do YOU want to grow YOUR GDI downline using a powerful yet proven system?' instead of 'Hi. Use ACME People Search to grow your GDI downline'! I don't know about you but that second one sounds really boring and lame lol. Also, the first one is asking a question which will automatically trigger a response from the reader and THAT is what you want. They are not the best examples I know, but I am sure you get the drift of what I mean.

That is all for now people but I may have one more in the works so until then keep M.A.P.ing your APS referral links and NEVER GIVE UP!

Kind regards
Saqib

Gone for 2 days and 31 sign ups

I left for a managers meeting 6 am Tuesday morning and came back late Wednesday
evening. I didn`t bring the lap top because I knew I wouldn`t get time to go online.

When I came home and logged in to my back office I had 31 sign ups in those 2 days.

Why am I telling you this? because this just shows that when you have your business set up
it runs by it self, earning you some nice commissions even if you are doing something else
and not even online.

The best part is that most of the sign ups came from FREE advertising. This advertising I have
used before and I wrote about in here a while back.

I mostly advertise though ppc on Google and Ask right now, but I wanted to test the free advertising
I had used with success before so Monday I send out solo ads and super solo ads on some Ad Exchanges.
Most of the time they don`t get approved rigt away, it can take days before all have gone out so I might see
more sign ups the coming days from these solo ads.

Free advertising DOES work if your ad and subject line is done right. The subect line has to be eye catching
and make the reader want to open the email to find out more. The content of your ad has to be HONEST,
people want the facts and NO hype.

Nomally people don`t want to share good performing ads but to show you what I mean, here is the exact ad that I used.

Subject line:

To Be Successful Making Money Online You Need....

Ad body:

A System that Works!

A honest, upfront and total transparent business.

Nothing should be hidden from you.

All the support you need, WHEN you need it.

A CEO that is constantly working on improving it and making it easier for YOU to make money.

Well these are hard to find in the online wilderness of scams and hype, BUT they do exist and here is this best one.

I have made over $10.000,00 with this business now. Yes you read it right 10 thousand and I will show you how.

Be prepared to invest $10 - $40 in your new business, because this is for real.

here I had a link to my splash page with the sign up form you can find in your back office

Kirsten Faucette

Now don`t just copy it, because it will lose the effect if several hundred is sending out the same one.
Make some changes to the body to make it YOURS and come up with differnt subject lines and start testing.

Happy advertising

Kirsten

Need more blog visitors?

How to get your Blog noticed

Here’s a topic we don’t talk too much about at the forum. There’s a lot of people that use free traffic exchanges to promote the APS business and all our other revenue sources but we often forget that getting our blog noticed is just as important as getting our referral pages visited.

I personally don’t like traffic exchanges because I don’t have the patience for it but those here seeking free advertising methods might find using blog exchanges a better use of their time.

Here’s five blog exchange sites ranked at the top of the Alexa traffic rank list – these programs work just like traffic exchange sites except you are showing your blogs instead of your referral pages of ACME.

For example, when you become an APS member, Tissa gives you links to advertise: Your search engine and a referral link. You have other links too but let’s just focus on the two I mentioned.

Usually your ad campaigns on PPC point to your search engine and your other advertising, like traffic exchanges send people to the referral page that has Tissa’s testimony and mug on it.

If you build a blog, you usually have a combination of both your search engine and referral page on it. At any rate, whatever you are promoting on your blog, be it ACME or other products, with blog exchanges you can promote your site.

Also with upgrades you get visitors to view your blog for at least 30 seconds. If used correctly this could be another source of traffic, possibly converted into sales, for your business.

So here’s the top four:

http://www.blogexplosion.com
2 sites for 1 credit; 30 seconds each

http://www.blogadvance.com
1 site for 1 credit; 20 seconds

http://www.blogclicker.com/
2 sites for 1 credit

http://www.bloglinker.com/
link exchange with other bloggers

Good luck.

Laura
