I am running this particular ad at .15 per thousand impressions @ $5.00 per day for 5 days.

As I continue to do this I will keep this thread updated with statistics, modifications and targeting information for the ads that I run.

This is totally kosher. No blackhat tactics or fishy stuff here. It came from the Big G personally.

I believe this is the result of Google trying to ensure that they control the big share of the market, and they are quite possibly apprehensive they may lose ground to Bing and Yahoo. So quite possibly things are changing at G.

Okay, here is how:

Yesterday I got a call from an Adwords rep and he spent about 90 min with me, painstakingly helping me through a process which granted me $214 in free Adwords coupons.

He first called me about a new Adwords account I had created, and asked me how much I wanted to spend. I instead asked him about the $100 coupons (drat, I should have asked about the $300 ones), and he said, "No problem. I'm here to help you!"

And he went on to walk me through to create 2 new Adwords accounts for me and deposit $107 in each.

I asked him quite a few questions about everything I could think of and here is a gist of basically what he told me:

I can have as many Adwords accounts as I wish. I can even use the same credit card in all of them.

The only condition is: I use only one account per website, and they should be in different verticals. (He checked my sites and he said they were fine).

Don't use 'make money online' sites for advertising in Google Adwords. If you have an actual product or are offering a service, it's no problem.

If I have 2 sites in the same vertical, e.g. real estate, I can advertise both, provided I don't geo-target them in the same area, because if they end up competing with each other, then I will get a Google slap. (But you need to have  separate Adwords accounts for each).

The good news? He said if I had any other websites that I wanted to promote in other verticals to please let him know, and he would be happy to help set them up and add the coupons there as well.

PPV is short for "pay per view". This type of traffic is also called CPV (Cost per view), contextual, and pop-up traffic. You can bid on keywords like with PPC campaigns but the best strategy is to bid on URL's. You would bid on a URL of a site and when someone visited that site, they would see your ad (landing page, offer page, etc) pop up.

Here is an example of how this works;

Traffic Vance gets its traffic from users who have downloaded and played games on Gamevance.com.
when they visit a URL or search a keyword you are bidding on.  they are served ads from the Traffic Vance system

Your ad will be popped up just like this one for example: http://www.trafficvance.com/index.php?page=public.Ads

These ads will show even if the user has a pop up blocker installed on their browser.

So Where Can I Buy PPV Traffic?

There are several marketplaces to purchase PPV/Contextual traffic. Some are better than others, and some offers work better on certain networks than on others. Why is this? It all has to do with the demographics of the people who install the software and get served the ads.

For example, someone who installs the Gamevance software is obviously interested in games, whereas someone who installs a screensaver software from Media Traffic is a different demographic. We will learn more about demographics later but it is one of the most crucial aspects of succeeding at PPV marketing.

This is some PPV traffic that you can try :

Traffic Vance (http://www.trafficvance.com) – Most affiliates favorite place to run campaigns. The traffic is very high quality but  has more competition than any other PPV network.And unfortunately  All advertisers are required to deposit a minimum of $1,000 to open a Traffic vance account.

Leadimpact (http://www.leadimpact.com) - Has some great quality traffic and are easy to get approved on compared to Traffic Vance.

Media Traffic (http://www.mediatraffic.com) - Probably the best network to start with. Their initial deposit is minimal, bid prices are low, and there is not as much competition. You also get an account manager who can assist you in setting up your campaigns.

Adon Network (http://www.addonnetwork.com) Good quality traffic, but a little low on traffic volume.

Adbrite (http://www.adbrite.com) Offers traditional PPC advertising but also pop-up's which is what I would recommend testing here.

Direct CPV (http://www.directcpv.com) - Another new source for PPV traffic. Here are some other networks you can buy contextual traffic on.

Clicksor (http://www.clicksor.net) - Not easy to get offers profitable on this source.

Cpvmarketplace.com (http://www.cpvmarketplace.com) – A relatively new company, but there have been some good reports on this source.

Ezanga (http://contextual.ezanga.com) – Good results can be seen here but start your tests very small.

Megaclick (http://www.megaclick.com) - The traffic here converts great but the cost is higher than most PPV sources.

The best PPV traffic sources for most people are Traffic Vance and Media Traffic. I would suggest to starting with Media Traffic because of the lower initial deposit, and less competition. But like usual you must always test and retest

What Types Of Products that You Can  Promote Through PPV Marketing?

You can promote almost everything of products/services through PPV traffic even our new income streams PPcall I think it's fit to promote using PPV but you have to make sure the affiliate network you're using accepts this type of traffic. Unless the offer you want to promote states they accept this type of traffic, never assume they do without checking. You could risk not getting your hard earned commission or worst (account Banned). When in doubt just ask your affiliate manager!

According to them, by simply signing up your TWR Affiliate ID is put on randomly generated Yahoo and Google ads that TWR, through deals, spreads all across the internet.

So, basically you sign up and they do all the advertising for you.

I signed up 2 days ago, did no other work, and according to their statistics I've gotten 2 clicks.

There is work you can do, however - by referring people to TWR, you're supposed to get even more Yahoo and Google ads with your Affiliate ID spread to even more websites all around the internet.

What is Traffic Bug?

Website Rank Checkers, allow you to check the Alexa traffic rank for any single website, see the PageRank and PageHeat of any given website, also check a website's search engine position with multiple keywords then check multiple websites search engine position with a single keyword, both possible.

Website Submitters, actually this is just one tool that submits your website to 19 of the top search engines.

Things that you Might Encounter in Traffic Bug & you Might Want to be Aware
Aggression Level is a thing you might encounter and might not fully understand. This lets you select how effective the Traffic Bug Backlink Accumulation Campaign will go and what density of backlinks would you want to possibly obtain.

You might want to have your main page url or a good post's or article's url set for High Aggression, while a lame post's or article's url you might want it set to Low Aggression.

The Idle Status basically means that all the backlinking is up-to-date and you now you are officially well prepared with the Off-Page SEO factors.

I checked the Plenty of Fish advertising medium to advertise my search engine. I wanted to share with you some of my observations in the very first 24 hours of my advertising. I am not going to comment on the conversions yet as it is too early to comment on it.

But I want to share with you couple of very important factors that you need to know about POF.

1. The approval process is very quick within few minutes. (unlike face book which takes a day or two)

2. POF provides a ton of impressions in the very first few hours. So be careful there, restrict your target group to only few, may be just one or two only.

3. First test with the minimum bid allowed that is $0.15 for 1000 impressions (you get this 1000 impressions in few minutes, I caution) and increase from there. Why I caution? if your ad copy is not that effective then all you will get is only the impressions and no clicks. You don't want to bid high until you know the ad copy that you are using is converting to your satisfaction.

This medium seems to be very powerful if used properly. Again start very low, do your home work, with few tweaking you will know what works for you without spending ton of money.

As there is no quality scores, no difficult approval process and with ton of impressions within hours, this tool seems to be very sharp, make sure you use it wisely and carefully to your advantage without going through the pain of spending lot of money without any conversions.

Anyways, it's a lot of fun and you can make really good money once you get the hang of it.  The advantages of PPV over PPC (pay-per-click) are you don't have to worry about quality score, you can direct link and the costs are a lot lower.  Bidding starts at 1 cent and it's very easy to get these bids.  What's really cool is you can bid on URLs and/or keywords so the traffic is highly relevant.  The drawback is since the ads are served as pop-ups or pop-unders it's distraction marketing so you have to make sure your ads grab the user immediately and it's a good offer.

It's very easy to get started:

1) Install tracking software.  This is absolutely imperative!  You'll lose big bucks if you aren't tracking.  The name of the game is to get your campaigns up and running and then weed out the losing URLs/keywords.  Most campaigns fail so you have to cut your losses quickly, but when you hit a winner it will more than make up for it.  To setup tracking for campaigns you'll want to install a self-hosted version of either Prosper202 or Bevo.  Ideally you'll have a dedicated server to speed up load times, but it works with shared hosting (I'm still using shared). 

2) Setup accounts with CPA networks.  Popular ones include PeerFly, NeverBlue, EWA, Clickbooth, and Max Bounty.  These CPA networks are a dime a dozen now.  Make sure to find reputable ones, and talk to your account manager to make sure PPV traffic is allowed with the offers you are promoting.  Some networks have different names for it - for example NeverBlue calls it DLS (downloadable software).

3) Setup accounts with the PPV networks.  The most popular one is Traffic Vance, but they require a $1,000 deposit and two references (yes, $1,000 alone won't get you in the door).  After TV, I would go in this order:  Lead Impact, Media Traffic, AdOn Network and then Direct CPV.  Although not pure PPV companies, Clicksor and AdBrite kind of fit into this category as well, but I would avoid both.  I would recommend people start with Lead Impact if they can afford the $200 deposit and then try to get into Traffic Vance.  If your budget is tight go with AdOn Network.  I think the minimum there is like $20.

4) Setup everything and start launching campaigns. 

Obviously there is more to this last step, but I'll leave it at this for now.  I'll make more posts about this in the future.  As I said, I'm absolutely addicted.  I've been doing it for about three months now and it's my absolute favorite marketing method.  Just be prepared to lose a little money in the beginning.
